A self taught musician, Gordon’s unique piano and vocal stylings have been entertaining people for over 25 years. He has aquired a vast repertoire of songs from all genres of popular music including country, blues, rock and easy listening as well as the classic standards that have endured the test of time.
A self-described advocate for the boogie-woogie & blues piano tradition he fell for after attending a 2001 Motor City Boogie-Woogie festival. He has devoted himself to re-creating the piano works of American piano masters like Albert Ammons, Otis Spann, Professor Longhair, and more.
A fingerstyle guitarist with influences from Jazz, Pop, Classical, Folk, etc. The main thing is that it's Solo Guitar. Some pieces are more influenced by Pat Metheny, some by Pierre Bensusan, some by Michael Hedges. Every piece is based on the music he is studying at the time.
She has been playing the harp for fifteen years. She is a dynamic and charismatic performer, equally at home performing solo music, chamber music, and orchestral repertoire. Lessons are available from her home in Royal Oak, and one day a week in Ann Arbor. Also available for weddings and other events.
Graduated from East Detroit High School in 1986 and earned a BA in music Education from Wayne State University. Ken performs in many broadway shows, big bands and has been featured in numerous TV and radio commercials as well as having performed and recorded with many orchestras and big names in the music industry. His album "The Perfect Day",was released October 2009 and is now available on iTunes. This album is ideal for those couples seeking the perfect music to be performed at their wedding ceremony.
